Eagles Bring Back TE Cornelius Ingram
The Philadelphia Eagles are rolling the dice and have re-signed tight end Cornelius Ingram to their practice squad.
The once promising college prospect out of Florida has twice blown out his ACL in as many years leading to speculation that many in the NFL to consider him “damaged goods.”
Jonatha Tamari, Eagles beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, penned that Ingram looked slow and was unable to shake defenders during training camp this season.
After dismissing him during training camp, the Eagles are hoping an extra few months rest will put a little pep back in his step–perhaps even back to the promise he showed while catching passes from Tim Tebow in college.
