I believe that if Payton is healthy enough to play again, the opportunity in Miami could represent an immediate playoff and Super Bowl threat in 2012. The offensive weapons are already in place for a QB of Payton’s pedigree. The defense in Miami is also pretty solid as well. However, the same can be said of the Cardinals even though they’re in the NFC West.

Although disappointed with Coach Jackson’s release, I’m okay with the hiring of Dennis Allen. I’m more curious about the staff that will be hired by Coach Allen, particularly the offensive and defensive coordinators. I’d also like to see Rod Woodson retained to coach the DB’s. I believe that a 3-4 defensive scheme will better compliment the Raider’s defensive talent. We’ll soon see!
