The University of Iowa football squad has dismissed running back Adam Robinson from the team after yet another off the field issue.
Robinson was sidelined earlier in the season for “academic indigestion” and was suspended from the Insight Bowl for breaking another team rule. Robinson looked as if he was going to come back to the team for next season but was arrested the night before the Insight Bowl on drug related charges.
In other news five Hawkeyes were invited to post-bowl games. Punter Ryan Donahue and defensive lineman Karl Klug have been invited to the East-West Shrine game while QB Ricky Stanzi and defensive linemen Adrian Clayborn and Christian Ballard have been invited to the Senior Bowl.
