Nutt and company will be home for the holidays this year as the Rebels came up two game shy of becoming bowl eligible with just four wins.
“It’s been a tough season. It seems like everybody has been getting hurt this year. It has been tough; I really hate it for the seniors. I am disappointed that we will not be playing anymore this year,” Nutt said. “I just hate it. All I know to do is just get back to work.”
Ole Miss will start getting back to work this offseason with questions on the defensive line as well as starting quarterback with transfer senior Jeremiah Masoli taking his last snap under center Saturday night.
