Quarterback Patrick Ramsey was released by the New Orleans Saints late Friday night, and rookie quarterback Chase Daniel has landed a roster spot as Drew Brees' backup for the defending Super Bowl Champions.Daniel caught on fast in learning the offense of Sean Payton and had a great preseason, throwing for 369 yards and four touchdowns against three interceptions.
