Two Key Players Active for Redskins

The Washington Redskins will have left guard Kory Lichtensteiger and safety DeJon Gomes available as they take on the Seattle Seahawks in their first home playoff contest since 1999.

The Washington Redskins will have left guard Kory Lichtensteiger and safety DeJon Gomes available as they take on the Seattle Seahawks in their first home playoff contest since 1999.

The left guard was absent from practice with week, but was given the green light following pre-game warmups in Landover.

Safety DeJon Gomes, who was limited in practice this week with a knee injury, is also active.

Also of note, Cedric Griffin is active for the contest after serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Cornerback D.J. Johnson was placed on injured reserve (ankle) to make room for Griffin on the roster.
