The Baltimore Ravens trail the New England Patriots 13-7 at halftime in the AFC Championship Game.

The Patriots took an early first quarter lead when kicker Stephen Gostkowski capped off a 13-play, 67-yard drive with a 31-yard field goal.

The Ravens after several three and outs finally got on the scoreboard in the second quarter and  took a 7-3 lead. Quarterback Joe Flacco led the team on a 13-play, 90-yard drive in which running back Ray Rice rushed for a 2-yard touchdown.

On the following possession of the Ravens touchdown Patriots quarterback Tom Brady answered right back. Assisted by two personal foul penalties the Patriots took a 10-7 lead with Brady finding Wes Welker for a 1-yard touchdown reception.

Tom Brady picked apart a tired Ravens defense when Baltimore’s offense once again was unable to convert on another long drive. Brady finished the half 14-of-24 for 139 yards and one touchdown.

Flacco finished the first half 6-of-12 for 81 yards.
