A rogue criminal organization replaced a corn crop with marijuana on a farm belonging to Washington Redskins defensive lineman Adam Carriker’s family.
The farm, which has belonged to his in-law’s for more than a century, is vast, meaning it was easy for the criminals to sneak on to the property unnoticed and plant the marijuana.
The illegal cannabis plants would likely have gone undetected had it not been for a FBI investigation that discovered the same criminals had planted marijuana on five other area farms.
In a joint effort that included local and federal law enforcement as well as aerial support, the farms were raided simultaneously and ridden of the marijuana.
Carriker himself also owns land on the farm where the marijuana was planted.
No charges were filed against the Redskins defensive lineman or his family.
Carriker talked openly about the raid with me during our radio show, 4th & Pain. A clip of the segment is posted above.
