Tebow Will Face Stiff Competition To Remain Broncos Starter

Tim Tebow will enter training camp as the Denver Broncos No. 1 quarterback, but he's going to have to fight to keep that way.

DENVER (FNN Media) — Tim Tebow will enter training camp as the Denver Broncos No. 1 quarterback, but he’s going to have to fight to keep that way.

Tebow, who has been working on his throwing technique with UCLA offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone, will face stiff competition come August.

Broncos head coach John Fox wants to bring in two quality quarterbacks to compete with and push Tebow heading into the 2012 season.

Brady Quinn is a free agent that does not appear to be in the cards for the team next year. As such, it will be two new faces.

The question is who those two players will be.

“Who, what, where, when, what market — it’s still way too early how we get those quarterbacks,” Fox told the Denver Post this week.

Still, he knows sometimes you have to dance with the date that brought you. And last year the Broncos danced with Tebow in the playoffs.

And for all the knocks on the former Florida Gator, Fox still believes he can get better. Perhaps he’s motivating him early.
