The Baltimore Ravens offense has shined throughout the first half of their season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals.
On the first play from scrimmage quarterback Joe Flacco found second-year receiver Torrey Smith for a 52 yard gain. Flacco and the Ravens revamped no-huddle offense jumped out to a 10-0 lead on a 7 yard touchdown run by Ray Rice.
Flacco who finished the half 12-of-15, 183 yards and one touchdown has thrown to six different targets. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin caught a 47-yard touchdown pass of early in the second quarter putting the Ravens up 17-3. Boldin finished the first half with three receptions for 53 yards.
The Bengals offense fired back with quarterback Andy Dalton leading the Bengals on a late drive before halftime. Running back BenJarvis Green Ellis scored on a 6-yard touchdown run cutting the Ravens lead to 17-10. Dalton finished the half 12-of-18, 112 yards.
