The Baltimore Ravens hosted their inaugural Ravens Football Camp, at McDaniel College for over 400 Carroll County youth and high school athletes on Saturday. The event was designed to equip the student-athletes with necessary skills to be successful both on and off the field.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and members of his coaching staff guided participants through a series of age-appropriate drills to develop offensive and defensive skill sets. Harbaugh welcomed the group of campers before the coaching staff assisted the campers as they participated in various football drills. During the camps lunch break Ravens director of player development Harry Swayne spoke to the student-athletes about life skills – focusing on how to stay motivated and successful off the gridiron.
The Ravens Football Camp concluded with competitive youth football games and a 7-on-7 tournament for all high school athletes. Each participant received a t-shirt provided by Under Armour.
