Darrius Heyward-Bey wasn’t the only Oakland Raiders player to suffer a concussion on Sunday.
Tight end Brandon Myers also sustained one in the team’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He must now pass a series of concussion tests, standard with head injuries in the league.
Myers has 15 catches and 206 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season.
He has already surpassed his previous career best in yards and is one reception shy of tying his single-season high of 16 which was set last year.
Heyward-Bey was kept overnight in a Bay Area hospital for observation after he was knocked unconscious by a helmet-to-chin hit in the end zone.
