The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Tuesday they will continue to conduct their training camp at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania through the summer of 2013.
“Lehigh University has been an incredible partner of ours,” said Eagles President Don Smolenski, “and we couldn’t be more excited about returning for an 18th training camp in 2013.”
Lehigh has hosted Eagles training camp since 1996, and has maintained a great relationship with the Eagles, as well as the many fans who flock to see their favorite team start their season.
“They provide us with first-class accommodations year in and year out – not only for the players, coaches and staff, but also for the thousands of fans who attend the practices every day,” Smolenski said.
Even last summer when other teams moved their training camps due to the NFL lockout, Lehigh found a way to accommodate the Eagles. And for the fans of the Lehigh Valley and all those who travel there to watch, they will be thrilled to learn they’re favorite NFL team will be back for another season.
