The Oakland Raiders coaching search has expanded to include Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg according to multiple reports.
Mornhinweg is a long-tenured assistant with a less than impressive track record as a head coach. The Detroit Lions posted a 5-27 record in his two season’s as head coach from 2001-02.
It is becoming more and more clear that the Raiders weren’t just spitting hot air at Todd Bowles when they informed him the position was not being held for a member of the Green Bay Packers coaching staff.
The Raiders are also interested speaking with both Denver Broncos coordinators.
