WASHINGTON (FNN Media) — The short unofficial holdout from Washington Redskins rookie camp is over for Robert Griffin III.
The team announced this year’s No. 2 overall draft pick signed his agreement Wednesday morning at Redskins Park in Ashburn.
Griffin jokingly tweeted that he was “off the unemployment line” shortly after signing the contract.
The four-year deal is worth $21.1 million and is fully guaranteed according to ESPN.
It us unclear whether the “offset language,” which was the sticking point between the two sides, remained in the contract.
Griffin will join his teammates on the field for the third day of the rookie camp.
Full-team training camp begins on July 26.
As of Wednesday morning only third-round pick Josh LeRibeus, an offensive lineman, remained unsigned.
