The Baltimore Ravens trail the Patriots 20-14 going into halftime.
The New England Patriots jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter after Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco was intercepted deep in Ravens territory setting Tom Brady and company up with excellent field position.
Patriots running back Brandon Bolden scored on a 2-yard rush on the ensuing play giving the Patriots a 10-0 lead.
The Ravens offense sputtered for most of the first quarter and was held without a first down for almost the entire first quarter. Baltimore finally got into the end zone when quarterback Joe Flacco completed a 25-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Torrey Smith to cut the Patriots lead to 13-7.
Smith is playing with a heavy heart after learning his brother passed early Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident.
Flacco finished the half 12-of-16 for 136 yards and two touchdowns including an impressive reception by tight end Dennis Pitta to take a 14-13 lead.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had success against the Ravens secondary late in the first half. Brady finished the half 15-of-22 for 214-yards including a go ahead 7-yard touchdown pass to Julian Edelman with two seconds remaining in the half.
