The list of Baltimore Ravens heading to the 2012 Pro Bowl in Hawaii has gotten a bit shorter in recent days.
Safety Ed Reed (nerve impingement, sore shoulder and a sprained left ankle ), running back Ray Rice (family reasons), defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (thigh) and linebacker Terrell Suggs (undisclosed) will all miss this Sunday’s game.
Those Ravens players will be replaced by Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai, Steelers linebacker James Harrison and San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Matthews respectively.
However, the four remaining Ravens that were elected linebacker Ray Lewis, full back Vonta Leach, guard Marshal Yanda and guard Ben Grubbs are expected to play.
