In a scoreless first quarter filled with hard hits and a turnover apiece the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns are playing typical AFC North football.

Browns return man Josh Cribbs was pummeled on a punt return by linebacker Dannell Ellerbe. Cribbs left the game and his status is uncertain to return.

Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith caught his third touchdown pass in the past two games, hauling in a 18-yard touchdown pass from Joe Flacco early in the second quarter. The Ravens however were unable to convert the extra point on a botched snap by long snapper Morgan Cox.

Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco finished the half 16-of-26 for 186 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Running back  Ray Rice was contained by the Browns defense throughout the first half. He rushed for just 19 yards on six carries

The Browns offense finally got into rhythm late in the second quarter compling a 11 play, 94 yard touchdown drive capped off by a Trent Richardson 1-yard touchdown run. The Phil Dawson extra point cut the Ravens lead to 9-7 with 2:00 minutes remaining in the half.

Richardson finsihed the half with 10 carries for 33-yards and one touchdown. Rookie Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden finished the half  11-of-22 for 122 yards passing.
