The last few months have been quite hectic for Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. After spending ten seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, he signed with Tennessee in the offseason, found a new house for his family in two days, and tried to settle in and focus on football.
With Tennessee heading into their bye week, Hasselbeck may actually have a chance to relax.
“You heal up, and be thankful for the bye,” Hasselbeck told the Tennessean on Tuesday. “Enjoy the DirecTV Sunday Ticket — that’s like the greatest invention in the world in my mind. And I am looking forward to watching other quarterbacks get hit on Sunday.”
Hasselbeck says he doesn’t really have any big plans on his week off, just taking it easy.
It’s my daughter’s birthday and we’re going to visit my grandmother,” he said with a smile. “Don’t tell the guys that, though. I’ll lose major credibility in the locker room as an old, boring guy.”
