Warren Sapp is not a fan of Oakland Raiders safety Michael Huff.
The long-time stud defensive tackle blasted Huff on the Ben and Skin Show on KESN-FM in Dallas Tuesday.
“Michael Huff leaves something to be desired,” Sapp bluntly told the show’s hosts, per the Dallas Morning News.
Sapp concedes he’s seen Huff “make a couple plays” as of late, but was quick to reminisce about watching him in practice a few years ago and the sour taste it left in his mouth.
The outspoken television personality added Huff was often the last player to arrive at practice, but the first to depart. He recalled a confrontation between he and Huff on his final day with the Raiders.
“I waited in the parking lot because I wanted to talk to the young man because he made me want to throw up watching him practice. I mean, the scout team would complete ball, after ball, after ball. I’m like, ‘You’re not going to make one play? I mean, you’re not even going to put your hand on it and knock it down?’”
While Sapp’s comments may have held water during the time in which he is referring, Huff’s play has elevated to the point where he picked off three passes in 2010 while starting 15 games.

Warren needs to act like a professional. He’s nothing but a dumb @ss raider hater. He can waste his fat @ss breath all he wants Al will never again give his sorry @ss the time of day. His opinion on any current or former raider don’t mean squat.
Huff is a bigtime bust. Drafted 6th overall, quit huffing on his nuts Raidercincy. He was suppose to be the next Ed Reed. Warren was at the end of his career in Oakland and he does have a Super Bowl ring for you to kiss.
Sapp was the man @ Tampa. Never even close in Oakland. He and Huff are no different. Seamore is the best interior lineman we’ve had in decades.
TELL FATBOY WARREN SAPP TO GO AND LOSE SOME WEIGHT. WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO FOR THE RAIDERS. THAT’S WHY TAMPA BEY LET HIS SLOW FATBUTT GO. MIKE DID A GREAT JOB LAST YEAR FOR THE RAIDERS. HE’LL BE EVEN BETTER THIS YEAR. IF YOU DON’T LIKE MR. HUFF. YOU CAN ALWAYS GO AND BE A CHARGER FAN LOOOOOOOSSSERS. I’M TIRE OF THESE FAKE RAIDER FANS. YOU’VE BEEN PICKED OUT FAKE RAIDER RICK.
Good riddens to Huff. I’ll be happy to see him go to Dallas, or wherever…just another disappointment in a long line of disappointing highly drafted safeties (See Derrick Gibson and Patrick Bates). The Raiders have excellent young talent at safety. Tyvon Branch is on the verge of becoming an all pro player. Hiram Eugene is solid, but not great. Mike Mitchell showed flashes of brilliance, and Stevie Brown impressed in limited play last year. See you later Mike…no hard feelings, but the Raiders are much better off without you.
