Raiders Head Coach Doing Motivational Speaking During Lockout

Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson is using some of what little time may be left in the NFL Lockout to teach the masses how to be a winner.

Jackson will be the featured speaker at the Fresno Advertising Federation Foundation’s Focus breakfast at TorNino’s in Fresno on Thursday, July 7.

Jackson will deliver a motivational speech on “Building a Winner” and teach those in the audience how to adapt that philosophy in their own lives.

Raiders owner Al Davis is hoping Jackson’s philosophy is more than just a speech. He promoted Jackson to head coach after he served as offensive coordinator in 2010.

Under Jackson’s system, the Raiders offense improved dramatically and finished fourth in the AFC and sixth in the NFL in scoring.

Advance tickets cost $30 with the price rising to $45 if purchased after June 30. Tickets will not be made available at the door.

Tickets can be purchased online. More information on the event can be found at the Fresno Advertising Federation Foundation website.
