Jeremiah Masoli has gone from the NFL to the UFL.

The former Oregon and Ole Miss quarterback signed with the Omaha Nighthawks on Thursday.

The Nighthawks are the UFL’s version of the New York Yankees, signing many of the league’s bigger name players to their roster.

“Jeremiah has a unique skill set for the quarterback position and it fits with what we do on offense,” said Nighthawks general manager Rick Mueller. “He is a competitor and winner and we are excited to have him officially wearing a Nighthawks jersey.”

The Nighthawks have a deep quarterback roster that included 2001 Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch and D.J. Shockley.
