DUI charges against Oakland Raiders running back Michael Bush have been dropped.
Bush, who was arrested on Feb. 12 in Indiana, breathed a sigh of relief Thursday as he updated reporters on his legal troubles.
“It’s a relief,” Bush told Paul Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area. “I just want it out there.”
A spokesperson for Clark County Courts could not confirm Bush’s claim, but told Gutierrez first-time offenders often have their charges reduced.
If that is the case, the charges against Bush will likely be knocked down to a simple public intoxication.
Bush’s lawyer disputed his client was legally intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
