Did the Washington Redskins defensive line cheat Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys?
“No way” according to rookie defensive tackle Chris Neild.
Cowboys center Phil Costa alleged the Redskins were mimicking Tony Romo’s snap count causing him to snap the ball prematurely on multiple occasions.
The Cowboys made officials aware of Costa’s complaints, but no action was taken against the Redskins during the game.
Neild says that’s because it wasn’t happening at all.
“We weren’t doing that,” Neild said Wednesday at Redskins Park. “Man, I don’t know what he’s talking about.”
The seventh-round pick out of West Virginia followed up with another emphatic denial and said the Redskins were trying to gain the upper hand in other ways.
“We were trying to get advantages everywhere around the field,” he said. “As far as doing anything in the way of cheating like that? We weren’t doing that. That was not happening. No way.”

Cowboy’s won on a stupid decision by the Skins to bull rush 3 straight times, nice Haslett, if they would of brought 4 dropped 6 into zone with a free safety we would be 3 and 0……I saw the game and heard no comments from the O-line, and with the powerful mic bowls on the sidelines you would of heard something throughout the game……look cowboys won, romo made a play we didn’t, simple, but don’t blame our O-Line for your inept center’s play. Pay back is a bitch in November!!!! Hail Redskins, the New Breed, this was just a bump in the road and a learning experience for our D, we will be there in the playoffs……..guaranteed! Hail Nation!!!!!!
