The Baltimore Ravens confirmed their interest in Nnamdi Asomugha, but it doesn’t appear the Oakland Raiders cornerback is their top priority.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh first wants to re-sign their own free agents before filling the team’s gaps elsewhere. That’ll be a difficult task given the wild, short and frenzied free agency period General Managers and head coaches will have to contend with.
“Yeah, we’re interested. We’re interested in all the good players,” Harbaugh told Brett Hollander during an interview on WBAL Radio in Baltimore (via Matt Vensel of the Baltimore Sun). “[But] I like our players. To me, the No. 1 priority is our players. I want our players re-signed. And that’s Ozzie’s No. 1 priority. … If we can’t get every one of them signed, then we’ll have to look outside or we’ll go with the younger guys, depending on who those guys are.”
No surprise there.
The Washington Redskins, who are just 45 minutes south of the Ravens, are still thought to be very much in the running for the free agent cornerback.

Please stop with the ” Where Nnamdi is going ” articles. Information is so much more interesting than speculation. We all know the teams with money are going to be considered the favorites because the media assumes that money is the only thing important to him. We’ll all find out where he’ll play at the same time so let’s just wait for it. I’ll be absolutely shocked if he leaves Oakland- Nnamdi is a Raider.
