There is speculation that Utah wide receiver David Reed will be the next draft pick to sign with the Baltimore Ravens.
Reed was selected one pick prior to defensive end Arthur Jones in the fifth-round of April’s NFL Draft. Jones signed a three-year deal on Monday.
Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun points out Reed will likely receive a $134,000 signing bonus under the NFL’s slotting principle.
Jones received a bonus of $133,500 while fourth-round pick Dennis Pitta received a $371,000 signing bonus.
