
Percy Harvin was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during practice.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin was taken to the hospitial via ambulance Thursday after he vomited and collapsed at practice.
The wide receiver was not participating in practice at the time. Rather, he jogged onto the field to watch practice after speaking with Vikings head athletic trainer Eric Sugarman and a few minutes later he fell ill according to Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
“That one hit and it hit hard,” Vikings head coach Brad Childress said of Harvin’s migraine. “Always scary for all of our guys when you see teammates struggling.”
Harvin has suffered from severe migraines since the age of 10.
Vikings players knelt in prayer while EMTs were attending to their their teammate.
The team ended practice early following the incident.
