Vikes’ Childress Not Worried About Edwards’ Injury

Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Brad Childress is apparently not very worried about the knee injury Defensive End Ray Edwards incurred during the Vikings’ blowout victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday’s NFC Divisional playoff.

“I’m not worried until I deal with the medical report,” Childress said. “I think he’ll be OK. There was no reason for him to come back in at that point.”

Edwards was dominant for the Vikings on Sunday registering 3 sacks and regularly harassing Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo.

Vikings fans may want to begin praying now as they will need Edwards to harass Drew Brees and the Saints potent passing attack if the Vikings hope to represent the NFC in the 2010 Super Bowl.
