Texas quarterback Colt McCoy plans to thrown at next week’s NFL scouting combine.

McCoy suffered a nerve injury in his right shoulder on the fifth play of the national championship against Alabama in January, which left his status for the combine and NFL draft position in doubt.

However, he said that he is now throwing 40 to 50 passes per day according to Suzanne Halliburton of the American-Statesman.

“I see the doctors every week,” McCoy told the paper. “I go through the rehab process every day. I’m healing much quicker than normal.”
