The Tennessee Titans and Jevon Kearse will be going their separate ways for the second time in six years.
The team is not planning to re-sign Kearse who is a free agent this offseason.
No word yet as to whether the “Freak” will be able to find another home or if this will be the end of the road for him.
The Titans will likely try to fill the void on defense in the upcoming draft. They struck gold when they drafted Kearse with the 16th overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft and are hoping to do the same this year.
“We have multiple needs on defense, and on the entire team as far as that is concerned,” Coach Jeff Fisher told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean. “But it would appear it is a very good year for defensive ends. They are good-sized, very athletic and talented defensive ends that could come in and play early.”
