The New England Patriots are in the market for a veteran tight end and it looks like Alge Crumpler is on the list.

Per Chris Gasper of the Boston Globe, the team hosted Crumpler at their facility on Monday.

The tight end spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons before moving on to the Tennessee Titans in 2008.

The four-time Pro Bowler saw his productivity cut nearly in half while with the Titans after being among the elite tight ends in the league with the Falcons.

His numbers have dropped in four consecutive season and the Patriots could get him at a decent price.
