Seahawks to Interview Ex Redskins Coordinator Sherman Smith

Former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sherman Smith is scheduled to interview with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

Smith is a candidate for the team’s vacant running backs coach position according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times.

The Seahawks recently added Jerry Gray, another former Redskins coach, to their staff as safeties coach.

He would join a coaching staff that includes Jedd Fisch as quarterbacks coach, tight ends coach Pat McPherson , secondary coach Jerry Gray, offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr., special teams coach Brian Schneider and offensive line coach Alex Gibbs.
