Already thin on the offensive line, the Washington Redskins lost practice squad player Will Robinson to the Seattle Seahawks Tuesday morning.
Pete Carroll’s teamed signed Robinson onto their 53-man roster.
Washington has an open spot on the roster after placing safety Anderson Russell and running back Chad Simpson on injured reserve Monday.
Running back James Davis was signed to fill one of the spots after Clinton Portis re-injured his groin in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.
Rick Maese of the Washington Post speculates that the Redskins could fill the other open roster spot with offensive linemen Selvish Capers or Erik Cook, both of whom are also on the practice squad.
