Seahawks Fire Jim Mora, Interested In Leslie Frazier

Jim Mora

The Seattle Seahawks fired head coach Jim Mora after his first season on the job Thursday.

Mora guided Seattle to a 5-11 record this past season, good for a third place finish in the NFC West.

Perhaps it was the final four games of the season that sealed Mora’s fate. The Seahawks were outscored 123-37 during that stretch.

Previously, Mora was 7-23 as as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

Jay Glazer of FOXSports is reporting that the team is interested in speaking to Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier to fill the vacancy.

However, the team has competition on that front. The Buffalo Bills flew to Minnesota on Thursday to speak with him about their head coaching position.
