Seahawks and TE Baker Agree on Two-year, $4.75 Million Deal

The Seattle Seahawks have a new tight end in Chris Baker, who played with the New England Patriots in 2009.

Baker is expected to sign a two-year, $4.75 million deal with the team according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

He will be paid $2.75 million in 2010.

Baker spent his first eight NFL seasons with the New York Jets before moving to New England last season.

His biggest season came in 2007 when he started 15 games, caught 41 passes and had three touchdowns.

Last season he caught 14 passes and two touchdowns with the Patriots.
