Saints Banged Up Heading Into NFC Championship

The New Orleans Saints are a little banged up heading into Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings. Several key players sat out Wednesday’s practice.

As we previously reported, wide receiver Robert Meachem sat out with an ankle injury.

Also on the sidelines were safety Darren Sharper with a knee injury, tight end Jeremy Shockey with another knee injury and cornerback Malcom Jenkins with a hamstring injury.

Meachem is not expected to play Sunday.
