Russ Grimm
The Arizona Cardinals have granted the Buffalo Bills permission to interview offensive line coach Russ Grimm for their head-coaching job.
There was some doubt as to whether Grimm would even accept the interview request, but a new report in the Arizona Republic states that he will sit down with the team.
The two sides could meet Wednesday or Thursday evening as the Cardinals prepare for their next playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.
There is also speculation that because it is a short week for Arizona, the interview could be pushed back to Sunday.
Grimm’s name has been floating around the head coach rumor mill for sometime, but he has never been given the shot to run an NFL team. Maybe it’s his time in Buffalo… even if he has his doubts about the position.
