As the Seattle Seahawks franchise moves forward with Pete Carroll at the helm, details have emerged regarding the dysfunctional nature of the previous regime.
Former Seahawks president Tim Ruskell hurled potent comments to now ex head coach Jim Mora regarding his advocating for Mike Holmgren to return to town.
Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times writes that Ruskell was so furious over Mora’s campaign to bring back Holmgren that he shot him a vicious text message.
“Real classy,” the text message began. “Now I know I was 100 percent wrong about you and I paid for it dearly.”

Here are Mora’s comments that sent him into a tizzy.
“It’s no secret that I’m a Mike Holmgren fan, and I was an advocate of him coming back, to the point that I made my feelings known to the people that make those decisions. I’m probably as disappointed as anybody that he’s decided to reject our offer and go onward.”
