Rumor: Seahawks Could Pursue Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens could pop up on the Seattle Seahawks' radar.

The latest team to enter into the “Where will Terrell Owens play in 2010 sweepstakes” is the Seattle Seahawks.

There is speculation that the 36-year-old free agent could pop on Seattle’s radar after the San Diego Chargers declined to trade Vincent Jackson recently.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio believes that it’s a “no-brainer” that Owens will be pursued at some point as the Seahawks want to upgrade their receiving corps.

Certainly Owens wants to play for a franchise that has a legitimate shot to contend for the Lombardi Trophy, but with no other interest out there right now the Seahawks could be his best (and only) option.

Owens started all 16 games for the Buffalo Bills last season, catching 55 passes for 829 yards and 5 touchdowns.
