Rolle to Visit Giants, Offered Deal by Dolphins

Antrel Rolle

Antrel Rolle

Antrel Rolle is expected to visit the New York Giants on Friday where he will weigh his options about joining the team according to Gregg Rosenthal of PFT.

Because the Arizona Cardinals released him, he is free to sign with whomever he pleases and not subject to the “Final Eight” rule.

The Miami Dolphins don’t fall into that category anyway, but Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that the Rolle was already offered a five-year contract by the team.

The Chicago Bears are also thought to be interested in Rolle, but it doesn’t appear that he has any interest in playing in the Windy City. It doesn’t look like they’ll get Julius Peppers either.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen is reporting that is indeed a two-horse race between the Giants and Dolphins.
