Prince has released a new song in honor of the Minnesota Vikings in hopes of boosting their chances of winning Sunday’s NFC Championship game against the New Orleans Saints.
He is a native of Minneapolis and a life-long Vikings fan. After not having seen them play in a while, he attended last Sunday’s playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys and got inspired to pen the tune.
“I saw the future,” Prince told FOX9 in Minneapolis.
After coming home from the game he wrote the song which he titled “Purple and Gold.” The lyrics came easy according to the rocker.
