Bruce Arians
In an interesting turn of events, it appears that Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians was behind word leaking out of his alleged impending termination. Not surprisingly, the Steelers organization was not happy about the revelation.
“I’ve been told Arians leaked it himself” Jim Wexell of SteelCityInsider.com wrote on his Twitter page. “And I hear Steelers [are] not amused.”
Whether the Steelers actually terminate Arians remains to be seen.
A report in Tuesday’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette states that he is expected to return.
Perhaps Arians is trying to force Pittsburgh into giving him the boot.
I wish Arians would get fired! The play calling was terrible. I think better play calling would help everything, including the defense because they’d be on the field less with shorter passes and more runs.
