David Carr
It doesn’t look like David Carr will be with the New York Giants next season.
Carr’s agent is currently negotiating a contract with the San Francisco 49ers according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.
The former No. 1 overall pick left the team facility without speaking to reporters on Saturday while his agent was presumably busy beginning contract talks.
A source close to the situation stated that “signs look good” for Carr to join the 49ers.
Carr was wined and dined by coach Mike Singletary on Friday.
Earlier on Saturday we learned that the Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals were also interested in speaking to the quarterback. Perhaps they won’t get that chance.
