The Washington Redskins are looking to NFC East rival New York Giants for help on their defensive line.
Mike Waufle will interview with the Redskins for their d-line coaching job next week according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.
Waufle was terminated by the Giants on Wednesday where he held the same position.
After missing the playoffs with a disappointing 8-8 season, the Giants decided to make a number of changes on their coaching staff and he was among the casualties.
Waufle had been with the team since Tom Coughlin arrived in 2004.
Mike Shanahan will likely be handing out some pink slips on Monday when he meets with current Redskins coaching staff left over from the Jim Zorn era.
