The St. Louis Rams opted to pass on Terrell Owens.
And then there was one.
The St. Louis Rams are out of the running to acquire Terrell Owens according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer.
Rams officials were to meet today to make a firm decision on whether or not to pursue Owens and evidently they have. The answer just happens to be no.
That doesn’t mean that the Rams still won’t pursue other veteran receivers to help mentor this year’s No. 1 draft pick Sam Bradford.
So right now it looks like the Cincinnati Bengals are the best (and maybe only) option for T.O.
Perhaps that’s for the best as Chad Ochocinco and Carson Palmer are both big fans. Plus, the Bengals are definite playoff contenders this year.
