Report: Rams Interested in DT Fred Robbins

The St. Louis Rams are hoping to upgrade their defensive line and are talking about bringing in a Giant.

The team is in “deep discussion” about signing DT Fred Robbins according to Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

Robbins is a ten-year veteran of the NFL, having been drafted in the second-round of the 2000 draft by the Minnesota Vikings.

Still productive, he played in all 16 games last season for the New York Giants and started in 12 of them. He racked up 25 tackles and two sacks last season.

Robbins will turn 33-years-old on March 25.
