There are rumors swirling that the St. Louis Rams are interested in trading down from the No. 1 overall pick in the draft in order to acquire additional draft picks and veteran players.
The rumor has it that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could strike a blockbuster trade with the Rams that would enable them to take Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh with the first pick according to Chris Steuber of Scout.com.
The Rams would then get the third overall pick in the draft and quarterback Josh Johnson from Tampa.
It’s no secret that St. Louis is quarterback shopping. With the third overall pick the Rams could sign Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford or even Jimmy Clausen from Notre Dame.
Don’t rule out Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick winding up there either.
If the buc’s only give up J.Johnson and there 3rd pick its worth a go, but I still say that Suh won’t overpower NFL O lineman the way he did in college .the buc’s don’t need another lineman with no moves we have plenty. and they also have a lot of holes to fill to give up any other draft picks. Hoping for the best outcome in tampa.
It would be pretty smart to trade down. Nobody is a for sure thing any more. Suh has had leg problems, might not mean much but still is a factor. Honestly we need to just go for Berry and with the depth that there is at DT grab one later on. Go get LeFevour in the 4th round. If he doesnt work out, then go for a first round QB next year when there is Locker. As a Rams fan, I am just tired of wasting our picks on D line. Apparently its not the way to go for us. This trade would be amazing for us. We go down 2 spots? Big deal. We also earn a young QB which aint a big deal but the big deal is earning another 3rd round pick we could use to grab McCluster or someone. Come on St. Louis. Use your brains for once. Just do the trade and grab best player available. A Ed Reed player sounds real good right about now to go along with Atogwe.
I will freak out too! if we’ll skip D’man SUH….
Go for Vick (trade next year drafts)& draft Tebow (@2nd rd.this year).. for… present & future investment.

Why would we take a chance and trade away SUH for a 3rd round pick and a 3rd string QB? PLEASE!!! Rams, do not do this. Take SUH #1, then build on your defense. We can get a QB via free agency, or just wait until next year, but do not pass on SUH…. We are just giving SUH away for nothing!! IF you are going to do this trade, than go for a 2nd round pick and not a 3rd round pick… how bad does Tampa want this guy? I do know that WE want him… dont screw this draft up RAMS… get SUH with the #1 pick, then Colt Mccoy with the 2nd round pick….
