Justin Fargas
Former Oakland Raiders running back Justin Fargas is in the Big Easy visiting the Super Bowl Champions.
“Son of Huggy Bear” is in New Orleans to meet with the Saints according to WWL-TV.
On Tuesday the Saints lost Mike Bell to the Philadelphia Eagles, which likely prompted the Fargas visit.
He was released by the Oakland Raiders earlier this month after failing a physical. Still, Fargas maintains that he is healthy enough to play according to PFT’s Michael David Smith.
The Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Eagles all had interest in the 30-year-old free agent, but have apparently passed.
We previously reported that he might have a tough time finding a team to sign him for 2010.
