The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly been fielding offers for wide receiver Sam Hurd.
The fifth-year player is hoping to stay in Texas, but could be a casualty of his $1.759 million salary according to Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News.
Hurd, who wants to see his role as a receiver increased, has proven himself as a valuable special teams contributor by leading the unit in tackles.
He is also the leading receiver this preseason with 11 catches for 132 yards, but still finds himself a long way down the depth chart.
Archer points out that the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs could be two potential landing spots for the 25-year-old, but nothing is imminent.
