Report: Colts’ Freeney Walking Without Limp

The Indianapolis Colts defense is poised to get a big boost at the Super Bowl as Dwight Freeney is expected to play.

His status had been in doubt for much of the past two weeks after reports that he suffered a serious ankle injury surfaced.

Freeney went so far as to spend time in a hyperbaric chamber to speed up the recovery time. And it would appear that his efforts will not be in vain.

Per a CBS report, Freeney was spotted on Sunday walking without a limp.

How much time he will see on the defensive line remains to be seen, but you can expect to see him in some third down situations against the New Orleans Saints.

The Indianapolis Colts are currently 4.5 point favorites in the big game.
